Hi and welcome to the Nikon D5100 beginners guide blogg.

This blogg has been created to assist those who are new to the nikon D5100 and are interested in moving from Auto to Manual control (and other feature based settings).

All experience levels are welcome to peruse this page, and if there is something to add, then join the page and do so but.
Bear in mind, we are trying to offer a definitive guide for beginners/hobbyists etc, so dont go overboard on the tech spec unless you are going to explain each aspect of it. (which can sometinmes come across as a bit boring and a danger, with respect to digression)
